H1B Visa Stamp Renewal After 7 Tears

Hello folks - 

 

First, thanks for reading this post. I will be travelling to India in April last week and would like to know if I am eligible for visa interview waiver program. here as my some details

 

- date last visa issued : dec 2009

- date of expiry : sept 2012

- type of visa : H1B

- consulate : mumbai

- employer : A

 

I am working with employer B now.

 

so I am little confused with this criteria

 

• If I am applying for an H or L (individual) or R visa, my prior visa in the same class is still valid or expired within the last 12 months.

OR

• If I am applying for any other class of visa, my prior visa in the same class is still valid or expired within the last 48 months.

- it seems i have to go for interview but just wanted to confirm...any suggestions?

You are not eligible for interview waiver because your visa is expired more than a year ago.
