Brigss
I have a question regarding my parents lost passport and usa valid visitor visa. Their Indian passport with valid US visa was stolen while traveling here in USA and have a police report filed locally. They acquired new Indian passport but still have to get the US visa stamped, so, 1) Do they need to file a fresh visa, or old lost/stolen visa file can be utilized? 2) Would they have to pay the fees in full for the visa and the case can be considered for pro-rated fees as they already had a stamped visa for 10 years? 3) would they need to go for another visa interview, or the interview waiver/drop box service can be utilized. Thanks! Link to comment
JoeF
They would need a new visa if they want to travel again. And there are no "pro-rated" fees. Link to comment
Brigss
Thank you Joe! How about the interview waiver? They would be applying for the same category visa, does it apply in this case? Link to comment
