BharatNT2IE
Hello, I need some help/reccomendations for my scenario :- a) Bachelors in India b) Masters in United States of America c) Work Experience 1) Worked as Intern in Company 1. (2 months) 2) Worked as Full time in Company 2. (3 years) 3) Worked as Contractor for Company A representing Company 3. (5 months ) 4) Worked as Contractor for Company B as Consultant for Company B1 representing Company 4.(1year 4months) Note :- Company <x> ;where x is {1,2,3,4} is the company running my paystub. Questions 1) My Lawyer asked me for reference/experience letters. I can get reference letter from Company 2,1 however i was thinking of being pro-active and submitting a letters from Company A and Company B ,because in both of them i have good relations. 2) My Lawyer is looking for educational transcripts should i include my High school diploma ? 3) How does the LCA process work for contractors, at the time of filing i may be in Company B, but in 2 months i may move to Company C, (with higher pay stub) and later i may move to Company D in 6. How do i keep track. Awaiting eagerly for replies from experts or anyone who is the same boat :) . Thanks Bharat C P Link to comment
JoeF
On H1, you are never a contractor. You are always an employee. Your employer may send yoou to client sites to work on projects, but you are always an employee of your employer, you get paid by your employer, even if you are not on a client project. rahul412
LCA is for full time employees not for contractors. Your H1 sponsoring employer will hire you as a full time employee and for remaining questions, your attorney will take care of it. You just relax. Link to comment
