H4 EAD Application - Travel

Hello

 

I am on H4 and my spouse as aproved I-140. So, I want to apply for H4 EAD.

Can I travel to India after applying for H4 EAD? If yes, are there any number of days I should wait before traveling and after applying? I am planning to stay for 5 weeks in India and come back to US.

 

What is the normal processing time for H4 EAD?

Hey, did you get reply to the above query. Please let me know. I applied for EAD last week and plan to travel next month. I doubt my EAD will be approved before my travel date although i expect the application to be picked up when I am in India.
