mrav85
Hi, I got my PERM approved yesterday and I am waiting for further information from my employer's attorney about filing I140. I am on my 6th year on my H1B which I have till Nov 2016. I went over the link and it says in the first bullet, that I can file H4 EAD once I have approved I140. But,I wanted to get a confirmation on my 3rd question below, as one of my told that I have to wait until 6th year or I should have an extension through approved I140 and 180 days should have crossed. http://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/temporary-workers/faqs-employment-authorization-certain-h-4-dependent-spouses I have few questions: 1. How much do I have to pay for filing I140 in premium? 2. How many days it take to get the I140 approved? 3. Once the I140 is approved, can I file H4 EAD for my spouse? or, I have to wait for sometime until I finish my 6 years on H1 to file H4 EAD for my spouse? Please advise. Link to comment
jairichi
1. It is employer's call to file in PP. First check with them. 2. in 15 days by PP. 3. Yes, immediately after I-140 approval. Link to comment
