fiveLions
Hi I am currently in a non-profit H1B. While I am aware of the general case of moving from cap-exempt to regular H1B, I would like to know what are the conditions for moving to a company based H1B visa under these circumstances: F1 visa (2 years) "regular" H1B (1 year) F1 visa (5 years) non-profit H1B (current) Considering I went through the process of being in the "cap" category once in the past, am I still subject to the cap should I move to a for profit organization in the future ? jairichi
You are cap exempt and a for profit employer can file a H1B petition anytime of the year. Link to comment
