regular processing from Jan 2 till date?

Hi

 

I Applied my H1B extenction in Jan,9, 2015, tillnow i didn't get any update, but in Oct 2nd 2015 i request For Premium Processing Services stil  no change in status, but i got attorney as like this

 

"Murali H1 premium,update they said that security check is not cleared yet, so they cant move forward with the case yet.Even though it is premium process still security background needs to be cleared."

 

Please any one can share with me whatt is security check and how long it will take?
