Need to go to India for vacation.

Hi,

 

I am on H1B visa working for company ABCD in Columbus,Ohio for client UXYZ . Recently my project got shifted to Dallas, Texas for which my company ABCD has asked me to submit documents to company's Immigration department so they can file for my petition Amendment. But the thing is that I am planning to go India this year in December for vacation. So should I go to India in December for my vacation during this process? How much time it takes to complete for petition amendment? What are my options ?Will only LCA amendment sufficient for working in Dallas or I need petition amendment as well?Request a early response.
