Travel while H4 EAD is pending

Hi

I'm on H1B and my wife's H4 is approved on 25th Sept 2015.

 

1.Can she apply H4 EAD and travel to India while the application is pending?

2.Will there be any problem with re-entry while the H4 EAD application is pending?

3.If she gets an RFE, how much time do we get to respond to it?

4.Does she need to be in USA to take care of the RFE?

1.Can she apply H4 EAD and travel to India while the application is pending? Not recommended.  

2.Will there be any problem with re-entry while the H4 EAD application is pending? No. POE has no interest in your pending EAD. 

3.If she gets an RFE, how much time do we get to respond to it? As specified in the notice. 

4.Does she need to be in USA to take care of the RFE? It's better that she is here, as h4 EAD is only available for applicants in the US.
