Filing fee if EAD or AP filed separately.

I am filing only 485 now, and wanted to file EAD and AP later. will there be additional filing fee for that. renewal is free but how about filing later.

Yes, if you file later there is a filing fee for EAD and AP. Filing fee is not applicable if you are applying along with I-485.

I checked in USCIS instructions, there is no separate fee even if we file separately.. below is the excerpt from 485 filing instructions...

 

NOTE:

You may file Form I-765, Application for

Employment Authorization, and/or a Form I-131, Application

for Travel Document, without fee, if you file Form I-485 and

you pay its required fee. You may file these forms together.

If you choose to file Form I-765 and/or Form I-131 separately,

you must also submit a copy of your I-797C, Notice of Action,

receipt as evidence of filing and paying for Form I-485.
