Mukeshmet Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Hi, I came to USA on L1B Visa through Employer A, now my L1B Expired and i'm working on i94 for same Employer A. My i94 is valid for one more year. Now i have applied for H1B with Employer B and H1B petition is approved. Should i quit Employer A by October 1st as a must? I want to work some more time for Employer A under i94 before joining Employer B on H1B. Is it possible? please let me know asap. Thanks in advance.
jairichi Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 If your H1B was approved as COS then you need to stop working for L1B employer from Oct 1st. If you want to continue with L1B employer after Oct 1st you need to exit and enter US with a valid L1B visa and I797.
