Non Availability Certificate for D.O.B

Hello,

I need to apply for 485 next month and my wife does not has her original D.O.B certificate issued.We can get affidavits for the same from relatives /friends.

 

Now what is this Non Availability Certificate for D.O.B? is that needed at all? That is somewhat tough as i need to get it duly signed by commissioner /registrar of municipal office.

 

Please suggest.

u or ur parents can go to municipal office and request for birth certificate. if all ok, they will give one...if not they will give a letter saying why they cannot give birth certificate. this can be called as Non-availability certificate from respective government organization. if this is given, then we should provide secondary evidence with affidavits from parents n relative.
