H1 addendum

Hi 

 My employer file H1B addendum on july 13 2015 and i still not received my receipt number yet, my wife and daughter are in india .they stuck their because i not able to take h4 visa interview dtae,I have some question regarding my wife visa

 

1) my wife is on H4 visa and its expired on 2013 she have a valid 1-94 its valid still Sep 2017, but that we got before the H1B addendum rules come.it was file when i was work on different client location .Can i take visa interview appointment with old receipt number. my employer told me that she will get 221G so dont do that.

 

2)if i take appointment with old receipt number, is it possible for me to update the receipt number after takeing the interview appointment. if yes then how i will do?

 

3)i am from kerala can i take appointment in mumbai consulate for h4 visa stamping

 

​4)in mumbai consulate fingerprint test and visa interviews are doing same day or indifferent day.

1. She needs to have a copy of your amendment approval.

2. Yes. But, you have not received your receipt number so far and that is very odd.

3. Yes.

4. Different days.

 

Not receiving a receipt notice till date is a cause of concern.
