srivatsavaguduri Posted September 10, 2015 Report Share Posted September 10, 2015 Hello, My wife used to be on H1-B visa. She moved to H4 on Feb 2014. Her H1-B validity expired on December 2014. If she want's to apply for a H1-B visa, does she need to wait for till the next filing period (April 1, 2016) or since she used to be on H1-B (which expired now), can she just file petition now and go for stamping if necessary?
