Is Amendment required to switch from current employer to previous employer with valid H1petition and LCA, please advise.

Please advice if amendment needs to be filed when switching between employers while on H1 visa. I was with employer A at location X but switched to employer B at location Y , now want to go back to employer A , would this require amendment despite the original H1 petition and LCA beingbstill valid .

What employer A did is a violation of immigration laws. Employer A has to file a cap exempt H1B petition and get it approved.

Since you have worked for B you need a new H1 from A in order to work for A. Once you have left A that H1 is gone and should be revoked as per the rules.
