New I 485 rule

I have my I-140 (EB2) approved through employer A. I am in my 9th year of H1B. I now shifted to employer B. in today's visa bulletin, it is mentioned about Dates for Filing Employment Visa Applications (determines when an I-485 can be filed). My question is whether I can apply I-485 immediately on my own without having to go back to Employer A. For the sake of question, lets say my priority date is May 2011. The current Eb2 cut off date is July 1 2011.

Yes, you can. Make sure that your I140 is valid.
