vickykt2000
Hi, I was having L1 blanket visa when I enter US on 2010 and filed a H1 in 2012 thru an employer while I was in US, got an approved H1B petition with the validity period started from 1st Oct 2012 to 30th Sep 2015. Never visited India during that time. Two months ago filed H1B extension and got the approval with the validity period starting from 1st Oct 2015 to 30th Sep 2018. Currently I am in India and got the new H1B visa stamped based on my extension petition with the validity period starting from 1st Oct 2015 to 30th Sep 2018. I am planning to travel to US this week, how the expiry date of my I-94 will be determined at POE? Will it be based on my previous petition's(1st H1B petition) end date( validity ends on 30th Sep, 2015) or based on my extension petition/new visa end date(validity starts from 1st Oct, 2015 to 30th Sep 2018)? Appreciate your help on this. Link to comment
