Successful H1B & H4 Stamping at Hyderabad 3rd Sep 2015

Hi,

 

I just want to share my Visa stamping experience at Hyderabad.This forum helped me a lot to get an understanding in stamping.

 

I am on EVC model and H1b extension ( 4th Year). 

 

VO was talking to her staff when I reached to counter, she just turned to us and asked me which company you are working for?

 

Me: Little worried not even say 'Hi' to her answered XYZ .

 

VO: Do you have any end client?

me: Yes, XYZ

 

 

VO: Have you attended XYZ University?

me: Yes

 

VO: Have you worked in cpt and OPT?

me: Yes

 

VO: How long you are working with this company?

me: more than 5 Years

 

VO: What happened in  year *2013 with you?? (With confused face)

me: I was thinking for a sec..( My wife replied we got married)

 

VO: (With a big smile )--- OH that was a big thing

 

TO my Wife

 

VO: When did you get married 

My Wife: 2013

 

VO: Is it arranged or Love?

My Wife: Arranged

 

VO: How long you been in USA..(with a smile of course from 2013)

VO: Ok your VISAS are approved

 

Me: Thank you

 

No single document was asked,

 

Tip: Arrive at least 1 hour before your appointment time and be confident answer loudly.

I attended H1B interview on 2nd September and VO told am approved for Visa after couple of questions but till now (10th Sept) haven't received any update on passport pick up. Status says "Passport is with US Embassy/Consulate". When emailed to support they are telling its in Administrative Process but I was not told that during Interview or give any 221 form.

 

Did you received it?
