tinku777 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 - I am currently employed with Company A on H-1B visa. COmpany A is H1-B dependent consulting firm. - I-140 is approved under EB2 quota with a PD of May 2013. - Company B is end client where I am working since 2 years. - Company B wants to hire me as FT employee. They said they cannot file PERM as per company policy but can provide all the required documentation so I can hire a law firm to file for PERM, 140 and 485. Is it possible for me to hire a law firm myself to file GC ? If not do I need to have them file for LC and can then hire a law firm ? Thanks Rohit Reddy
rahul412 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 You CANNOT file PERM by yourself. Employer has to do it.
JoeF Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 Only the employer can file PERM, and they have to pay for it.
