h1bjob Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Hi I am with employer A (DESI ) from 3 years, worked on 2 years on OPT CPT and now 1 year on H1b . got h1b on 2015 oct for 1 year which will end on oct 1st 2016. Applied for extension got approved for 3 years till 2018 oct. 1st H1- oct 1st 2014 to oct 1st 2015 Approved extension on aug 14 th 2015 -- oct 1st 2015 to oct 1st 2018 I got an offer from Direct client to transfer my h1 for full time starting october 1st 2015 , my question is can i start working from october 1st as my new h1 which starts on october 1st with my new employer ? or do i need to work at least a day with my previous employer as he is my petitioner?
jairichi Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 Your dates do not match. You mention that your H1B was approved for one year from Oct 1st 2015 and next you say your 1st H1B was from Oct 1st 2014 to Oct 1st 2015. Which is correct?
