MathiKash
Hi, I came to USA in 2011 on H1-B visa, then I have applied for H1-B extension and it got extended to 1 year. Visa details: Visa - H1B Valid - 05/02/2012 to 05/01/2013 I got my promotion in the mid of 2013,so at the time of H1B expiry my employer converted my H1B visa to L1-A visa(changed status). By mentioning the following details in I129: 1. Requested Nonimmigrant Classification -> L1A 2. Basis for Classification -> New employment. 3. Requested Action -> Change each beneficiary's status and extend their stay, since he, she or they are all now in the U.S in another status. then i have applied for L1A extension and got approved for 2 years. Now my question is 1. Is possible to use my H1B visa(first visa) and can another employer be able to trasfer the visa? 2. If answer to question 1 is yes, are there any risk in transferring ? 3. Currently i have worked in US with 2 years in H1B visa and 2 years in L1A, suppose if possible to convert again to H1B, then how long will I can stay with this visa? Link to comment
