su32597
Dear Experts, I have 3 major questions. 1) My wife's employer chose her for H1B and she'll attend H1B interview in next 2 to 3 months. By that time, she'll be on her 4th to 6th month of pregnancy. Wil her being pregnant affect her chance to get selected? How will be the financial aid of her delivery in the USA? (Note: Her employer doesn't yet know that she's pregnant. She's currently at her 2nd month). 2) I am an Under Graduate (10+2) and I'll be on dependent Visa. Will me being UG either affect her or my Visa approval process? And will my EAD be considered for any jobs? Will I be able to do graduation there? 3) We're married for 5 months now and neither my passport nor her passport includes either one's details as married. What kind of changes should be made on the passport. Do the change(s) required of my passport or her passport or both of ours? Thanks for any reply in advance. Link to comment
jairichi
1. No effect on outcome of visa. Check with your colleagues about insurance provided by your employer in US. The package in detail. 2. You get an EAD only after I-140 approval of your spouse. That is a long process and employer has to start that. On H4 visa you can study in US but you will need to clear GRE, TOEFL exams. 3. No issue. You should carry your marriage certificate. Link to comment
