Parents visitor visa approved - Hyderabad

I am on H1B, sponsored & invited my parents for my MS graduation next(September) month.

 

Interview was in Telugu with American female Visa Officer.

 

 

VO: US enduku veltunaru?(Why are you visiting USA?)

My Parents(Dad): Ma abbayini chusi, oka nelalo tirigi ravadaniki(to visit our son and will return in one month)

 

VO: US lo mee abbayi em chestunadu?(What is your son doing in USA?)

Dad: IT lo pani chestadu(works in IT)

 

VO: US lo mee abbayi ekada vuntadu?(Where is your son living?)

Dad: Texas

 

VO: Meeru ekada vuntaru? Hyderabad?(Where are you from? Hyderabad?)

Dad: Hyderbad kaadu, XYZ vooru(No, not from Hyderabd.XYZ(Native place))

 

Golden words:-)

 

No questions were asked about my university/my graduation. No documents were cheeked.

My parents visa also approved on 18th August in Hyderabad.

 

When I see the application status it is showing as Administrative Processing.

Is it what you are also seeing for your case or is that expected.

I have never seen such status(Administrative Processing) for my parents. They received passport very next day afternoon...

 

After the interview, Initial status message was: "Your passport is still with US Embassy/Consulate" and around the noon time, It changed to: "your passport is ready to pick up".

@Kranthi111   Did VO handed over 221(g) to your parents?

My Mother In law attended VISA interview today morning at Hyderabad consulate. VO has requested additional documents ( My Wife VISA - H4 ). We have submitted/drop document at noon Time.

 

Does any know what are chances of getting VISA after 221(g) and how much time it takes.

I am little worried regarding that. Is there any way to contact the consulate and get the status like whats going on?

If its still with US Consulate, I have no idea how to contact them.

 

I believe we can contact traveldocs for the passport status.

No they haven't issued any 221g. Its just taking time to get the passports and yesterday my dad passport were issued and waiting for my mom passport.

 

It will get for you but we can't predict any time for admin processing.

Thanks for the info. My dad passport was issued yesterday and waiting for my mom passport.
