gsharma1 Posted August 18, 2015 Report Posted August 18, 2015 - Indian national, currently on I-94 granted with L1B. I-94 expires 08/23. L1B extension paperwork sent on 08/14 to USCIS. Receipt number expected in 2 weeks. - Plan is to work between 08/23 - 09/23 in USA. Then travel to India, go for H1B stamping and then travel back to USA on H1B after 10/01. 2 questions: 1) After 8/23, Will I be out of status till receipt number does not come in? 2) What risks this carries for H1B stamping in India during september end?
