Swathi421 Posted August 18, 2015 Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 hi, I am an graduating f1 student and received EAD combocard through my husband .my question is can i apply for OPT .or else if i don't apply if i don't apply for OPT what would be my status .can i still be US with EAD combocard and travel abroad. pontevecchio Posted August 18, 2015 Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 The EAD based on pending AOS lets you work without needing OPT. The AP part lets you travel and return. The F1 would seem to be history. Link to comment
