H1B transfer approved but start date in I797 delayed

Hi,

 

I'm currently working with company A on H1B and I got good offer from company B. Company B initiated the H1B transfer and it was approved last week. I resigned from company A and currently serving notice of 2 weeks. Just yesterday I received new I797 from company B but start date delayed by more than a month from now.

 

I would be completing my notice period in next week and upon completion can I join company B in next week even though the start date was postponed by a month in I797 ?
