Successful F1 satmping,Last semester

Hi all,

 

 I applied for H4 to F1 cos on January 12 at VSC and after 6 months of waiting(raising several service requests and expedite requests with uscis) , decided to come to India for F1 stamping and successfully got my F1 visa stamped at Chennai.

 

My questions are

 

1)My COS  from h4 to f1 which was filed on January 12,still says application has been received.MY DSO said she has already cancelled sevis for that,but still case status is the same.So what should I do to withdraw that COS?I am planning to travel to US on aug 18 so should i cancel that COS before that?

 

2)This Fall semester is my last semester and I need only 2 more courses to finish my Master's.But since I got my f1 visa stamped this semester should i take 3 courses ?If i take 2 courses will it affect my OPT application?

1. Your COS to F1 application is considered abandoned due to your travel. Nothing needed to be done.

2. This you need to discuss with DSO.
