Visitor Visa (B-2): Paid performance? meaning?

I was looking at some information on visitor visa on the internet and I found that "paid performances, or any professional performance before a paying audience" are not allowed on the visitor visas. Does this also include job interviews? Could anyone attend job interviews while remaining in the USA on visitor visas?

Paid performances are things like concerts, speaking tours, etc.

Job interviews on B1/B2 are fine.
