Is h1B amendment required for client change in Feb-15

Hi - Please let me know if H1B amendment is required in my case. 

 

I have stamped h1b valid till may 2017. But after getting my stamping done in Nov-14, i changed my client in Feb-15 but still with same employer. Till now am still working with the same client i joined in Feb-15. Am i required to apply for h1b amendment ? 

 

I ask this question because of updated h1b amendment rules published by USCIS on July 21st.

But my attorney is telling me that amendment is required. Not sure if this for retroactive purpose. I do not want to file amendment and take risk when its not required. On the other hand, I cannot just deny what my attorney says :( 

 

Any advises ?

May be your attorney doesn't want to loose his filing fee, it's upto your employer.
