B2 to H1

[RD2015]

My H1b is expired and I haven't consumed it. Now, I don't have a job and I want to travel to my brother's place in US for a potential face2face interview. If it goes well I have following questions:

 

1. If I applied to B2, will the VO cancel my previous unconsumed H1? What are the odds of getting approval of B2 in this case?

 

2. If allowed by the company, can I continue with that employment working from India while frequently visiting US on B2?

 

3. If not allowed by the company, is it advisable to produce unconsumed H1 to the company for transfer while I am in US on B2?
