I resigned at Company A with last date as Aug 7th. and starting at Company B with start date on Aug 10th. I just found out that if I stay with company A until Aug14th(5 more days) I will receive my annual bonus that is 12% of my base pay. I am not sure, if I can go back and negotiate on the start date with Company B. But I have 5 sick days with Company A. Can I join Company B on August 10th and go on sick leave with Company B till Aug 14th and get my final bonus pay out ? I know that I will also get a cash out of vacation from Company A after I leave and that pay check will be at a later date too. Please let me know asap. Thanks,
