sunny1986 Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 Hi, I changed my employer and got the receipt notice on May 29, 2015 for my H1B transfer/extension. Any idea how long it takes for getting approval notice? My I94 is valid until september 2015 and I need to travel to India in October. Shall I ask my employer to upgrade to PP or should I wait? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
cprakash1995 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 The normal processing time these days is anywhere from 3 to 4 months and in some cases it is more. You can wait and see till august, but most likely you will have to ask for a premium processing upgrade if you have to leave in october
