H1-B 221g stamping at Hyd Consulate- waiting for passport

Hello friends,

 

I got an email from hyd consulate to submit my passport on 24th July 2015. I have submitted the passport on same day at hyd VFS location.

 

First Status Updated date: 23rd July 2015

Passport Submission date: 24th July 2015

Second status updated date: 28th July 2015

Third Status update dated: 4th Aug 2015(today)

 

Can you please anyone let me know when i can receive my passport back (Is it a positive sign if consulate asked me to submit the passport?)

Hi John,

can you tell me what was the reason of your 221g or rfe ?

What were you asked during the interview?

 

This would be helpful to me as I am also planning to attend visa.
