June 2011 - June 2014 FIrst H1 for 3yrs -- No Stamping ( Didn't travelled) June 2014 - Dec 2015 for 1.5yrs - No Stamping (Didn't travelled) My Current H1 B Visa Expires on Dec 31st,2015. Want to go for first time H1b Stamping in India. Questions: -- Ill be travelling to India from Oct to Nov 3rd week and wanted to go for stamping in Oct 2nd week. Do I have proper chance of getting stamping till Dec 2015, as I have current I797 till dec 2015 ?? ( How many min. number of months visa need to be there) ? -- I thought of applying for extension this month end in premium, but the problem is my client is mentioning contract end date as dec 31st,2015. Im working for this client since 5yrs and still its an ongoing proj., but they renew contract yearly. My employer mentions that there is no chance to get the visa extended as there is no gap between contract end date and current I797.
jairichi Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 Approval depends on proper documentation. Without an extension approved your visa's validity might be till Dec 2015.
