Fathers Name change in passport

Hello Murthy Forum,

 

There is difference in my fathers name in my all certificates (School, degree, birth etc)  when compared with my passport . My passport has correct fathers name according to my fathers certificates. But all my certificates (School, degree, birth ) has incorrect fathers name which has one letter missing in the certificates.

 

Will there be any implications when applying for extension of H1, Visa Stamping and during GC process if my fathers name is different in certificates and my passport?

 

If there are any issues what would be the next step for me ? should i change the fathers name in my passport with the same name which has in my certificates? or any other options?
