kranthi111 Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Dear Seniors/Friends,I am in process to fill up the DS-160 forms for my parents. Here is the brief description of my father annual income. My father is not employed. He owns a building and collects rents every month and also he owns agricultural lands and collects lease for those. 1) Do I need to select Agriculture or Business as primary Occupation? 2) Can I put SELF under present employer or school name? 3) Can I mention my father home address in present employer address section? 4) Briefly describe your duties: What should I enter for this field in details? so it will make sense to VO Thanks a lot for your advice and help.
MurthyIndia_Lawyer Posted July 28, 2015 Report Posted July 28, 2015 It may best find an appropriate occupation from the drop down list and explain his source of income in brief to ensure the facts are consistent in what your father does. Since your father is neither invovled in any business or agriculture, these options may not be accurate.
