First time H1-B stamping in London (last visa was F-1)

Hello,

I was wondering if I could get my H1B visa stamped at the Consulate in London. I've heard and read mixed reviews up until now. If anyone knows any better, please comment. That'll be extremely helpful. I have listed out some details about myself below:

1) I completed my bachelor's in accounting and finance in a large state university in the United States
2) I got my job through on campus interviewing in a large (the largest) regional accounting firm
3) All my paychecks are through my employer. In addition, my employer will be happy to provide me with any letters, asserting facts, that would help me in the stamping process.
4) My last f-1 is now expired
5) I have been approved for the H1-B and have all the required forms. Just need to get the VISA stamped onto my passport

I was planning to travel in December. My sister lives there, so a couple of weeks shouldn't be a problem.

Please comment and let me know if I should try and get my Visa stamped in the London embassy or fly all the way back home? (to Mumbai). Regardless of what I do, I will update this thread for future reference.

Thank you so much for your help.
