I did not change the employer and procured the new LCA as per my employer's guidelines before moving to the New location in Atlanta. I am planning to Visit India soon. Since I am on H1B extension and do not have a valid stamp for the current Period, I am required to complete the stamping formalities before fying back to US. My Employer though is filing a retroactive amendment for all the people who relocated in last couple of years though USCIS requires it to be filed for only relocations that happened after April 9th 2015. Would appearing for stamping without an amended petition have adverse impact?
