Major field of study on PERM-??

Dear  all,

 

I have question here on PERM filing..

 

My attorney already filed PERM online.. but what I observed the major field of study has been showing up as Electronic Engineering instead of `Instrumentation Engineering` as per my degree certificate (of course as like in any branch we had some electronics subjects in detail).

 

Somebody told me as they may not have all categories in USCIS, hence they can not show exactly ..., so it should be shown in similar and hence it should be shown as Electronic Engineering.  The HR gave the document for my review but I forgot to raise this question as I trusted this  "somebody".

 

But now I worry and thinking I should have asked attorney directly  , now I do not want raise it unless it is really an issue.. as it will create havoc with my HR.

 

Is it OK to show as Electronic Engineering as Major field of study instead of showing exactly as on Degree certificate.

 

Will this be a problem ?? If yes, when is the best time to correct it.. ASAP or during I-140.

My problem solved :-)  , I thought Attorney already submitted but he has not. I was unnecessarily worried, He said they will correct as required.
