Amanpreet
I have H-1B visa stamped, however I have never visited United States. I would like to : 1. Apply B1/B2 (Visitor Visa) to visit US and wants to look out for an employer for me. 2. Does applying for Visitor Visa harm my H-1B Visa by any means ?3. Upon getting a job and getting H-1B with new employer, Is it possible to change the status from Visitor (B1/B2) to non-migrant (H-1B), without leaving US ? 4. If yes, How ? Link to comment

Amanpreet
I have another query. If in case employer revoke H1B, What happens in this case : 1. Does H1B goes wasted, I means I-797 is not longer valid ? 2. After revoke - Can we apply job with new employer and get H1-B as cap exempt ? 3. Where can I find the law for H1-B revocations ? You will be considered cap exempt for future H1B petitions till you reach the max allowed stay of 6 years on H1B status. Link to comment
