jyothirmainaga Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Hi , I applied my H4 to f1 cos on Mar 6th,2015 and haven't received approval yet . Right now , i am in 3rd semester as a full time student in the school on H4 . My question is , if I get my f1 visa in August , will i be eligible to apply for OPT in my last semester which is starting from Oct ,2015 ? Or should I be on f1 visa for another 9 months from the f1 approval date? I was puzzled now , since am only left with 1 semester with 3 courses.
