I understand the COS from H1 to H4 could take about 3 months. Can i go to Mexico for H4 stamping and then apply for EAD? Thinking it would cut the processing time for EAD. Link to comment

NOTE – The applicant must apply to renew in the same visa category and cannot apply in a different category. Link to comment
