vivekreddy1421988 Posted July 20, 2015 Report Posted July 20, 2015 Hi, I was on H1b with company X working for a client Y. I accepted full time with Client Y and started to work for it. Now I again want to go back to Company X and work for different client and company X had not revoked my H1b yet. 1. As I transferred my h1b to Clent Y from X will I have to again re transfer? 2. Can I just start working for Company X with new amendment? 3. Was my h1b with company X automatically revoked once I changed to company Y? Please respond quickly!!
jairichi Posted July 21, 2015 Report Posted July 21, 2015 1. Your company X violated immigration law by not revoking H1B petition once you left them. They need to file a cap exempt H1B petition. 2. An amendment is nothing but a new H1B petition. 3. It is not automatic. Refer 1.
