H1 Transfer after leaving USA for a year

Hi,

I have stamped H1 from 23 July 2013 - 15 March 2016. My company laid me off in Feb 2014 & revoked the H1 sponsorship in April 2015. 

 

I am in India since April 2014. So more than a year I am outside USA. I am looking to get a job in USA now. Can I get transfer of my visa as been through cap or do I need to go through H1Cap limits again?

A new employer can file an H1 at any time. You will get the remainder time.

You can do it anytime.
