My visa was approved today.here is my experience.

Interview is at 8.30 am , I was there around 7.45am.

Security check -20 min

Fingerprints- 5 minutes

Wait in counter for interviews- 20 min

VO: how are you doing today?

Me: I am good .. Thank you. How about yourself?

VO: is it your first time H1B visa stamping?

Me:yes

VO:Which school did go to?

Me: xxxx

VO: When did you graduate?

Me: Dec xxxx

VO: What is your status in Canada?

Me:H1B

VO: what is your visa status in Canada????????????????

Me:(I realized little later) Visitor visa

VO: who do you work for?

Me: xxx

VO:can I see LCA ?

Me: (I organized all my docs , because of security check order got messed up..VO still waiting..handed over it after a minute of waiting)

VO: can I see your employment offer letter?

Me: sure ( handed over it)

VO Typing something ..

VO:What's your salary?

Me: $$$$

VO: can I see pay stubs?

Me: handed over

VO verified

VO:How long you are with your employer?

Me:xx months

VO: do u work at employer loc? Client loc?

Me:client loc

VO: who is your client?

ME: xxxx

Typing something...

VO: can I see your SSN and Id( DL)?

Me: handed over

VO typing..

Golden words :-)

VO handed over me a green print out with instruction on choking the status n how to pick up docs( passport and I-797) and pamphlet detailing rights as a Temporary worker in USA.

VO: do you know the rights of temporary worker inUSA?

Me: yes

VO: ok.. Check your application status online and accordingly, pick your docs after 3-5 business days.

Me: thank you .. Have a nice day..

Hello.. I have visa appointment next week in Vancouver.. how is the visa approval rate? do we have any lockers in the building? I am looking for an accomodation and couldn't find one.. where are you staying right now? please let me know.. Thanks.

Hi yeshv, I have no idea about approval rate..yes, we do have lockers in the building ..sorry..I don't have any accommodation, I am staying with someone n leaving soon to US.

Was it 4 business days? I have the interview for aug 20th, just want to make sure so that I can arrange for my return schedule.

Yes, In my case, 4 business days(as Visa Officer told me 3-5 business days).
