H1 -> H4 COS Delay, Visa Stamp?

Hello,

 

I applied for COS (i539) on April 17th 2015 from H1 -> H4, since my H1 was expiring on June 17th 2015 (max out date). Currently, as we know there are long delays in approvals of i539. I also see from various forums that the H4 EADs are being approved much sooner than what was initially mentioned. So i am thinking of traveling to India to get the H4 visa stamping done and then apply for EAD on my return (my spouse has the required status for this). This will help me to rejoin work as soon as possible.

 

I do have a few concerns/queries and would like seek your expert advice.

 

1. Would i be facing any issues when i go for visa stamping, since i was working until very recently and trying to get H4 visa, especially with the EAD option now available?

2. I have been placed on Leave of Absence (no pay) in my company until i can get a new work authorization. Would this affect my H4 stamping?

3. My company is also pursuing my GC process but PERM has not been applied yet. Is this OK for H4 visa stamp?
