rajiv2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 In DS 160 form for stamping, there is a question, are you applying for the same visa type which was issued earlier. I am confused. In my case my last visa stamped on my passport was L1. Then I got my H1 I797A petition approval while in US and never got it stamped. Then before it was expired I moved out of country. Now I got my H1 I797B approval, so applying for stamping. So my question is what should I answer to the question - are you applying for the same visa type which was issued earlier ? If I answer no, that means I never had H1 ?
