H1B Rejection letter says LCA submitted with form I-129 was not signed properly

Hi,

 

I have completed my Masters in US. I am currently on OPT extension. I have filed my H1B this year. I was not notified about being selected in the lottery. I got a letter now saying my petition is rejected as the LCA was not properly signed. Does that mean I was actually picked in the selection. If yes, Can I reopen the case?

 

Please help me.

That H1 is gone. Did the employer have a lawyer? A lawyer would have checked that the signature was there.

Yes, your application was selected in lottery. You can do nothing. Only your employer can.

Looksl like you were selected in lottery. Else they wouldnt try to process your application.

 

Did you get any notice from USCIS that you have not been selected in the lottery and return your package? If not then you were selected and they tried to process your application.
