Recently my initial opt denied,As i already completed grace period i reentered from mexico with new i20 and sevis. 1.Can i apply Opt after completing second masters? 2.Will different sevis number on visa be a problem if i apply opt? 3.Will first OPT deniel cause problem? My first OPT denied because of CPT reasons and I haven't did 1year CPT on my first masters.Can anyone please answer my questions Thanks in advance.
JoeF Posted July 10, 2015 Report Posted July 10, 2015 Abuse of CPT will of course cause problems, essentially killing the career in the US. Legitimate CPT is very rare, and universities that offer legitimate CPT have competent DSOs who would advise the student appropriately. You asking here indicates that the university you went to is probably shady and you probably abused CPT. People need to stop abusing CPT if they want to have a future in the US.
