Mexico First time H1B Stamping

I am planning to goto MEXICO for my H1 Visa Stamp . 

 

This is my first time H1 Stamping from F1. 

 

Is it ok to goto MEXICO for this ? Few websites say we can't got to MEXICO for F1 to H1 

 

Please advice .

SharedMocha, you can not go to Mexico for first time H1B visa stamping (F1 to H1B). H1B renewals are allowed.

Take a look at #3 on the embassy website: http://mexico.usembassy.gov/visas/non-immigrant-visas/who-can-apply.html

 

You can goto your home country or Canada.
